Data protection · GDPR
This policy explains how the Conseil Européen des Economistes de la Construction
(CEEC) processes personal data when you visit ceecorg.eu,
in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
Conseil Européen des Economistes de la Construction (CEEC)
74 Rue de la Fédération, 75015 Paris, France
Email: info@ceecorg.eu
2. What data we process, and why
Server log files. When you access the site, our hosting provider
automatically records technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser
and operating system). This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, secure site).
Web analytics. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to
understand how the site is used. Analytics may set cookies and process a shortened IP
address. This runs only where permitted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent),
or Art. 6(1)(f) where analytics is configured without cookies.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send you
the CEEC newsletter, using the service Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA). You can unsubscribe at
any time via the link in every newsletter. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard
contractual clauses.
Embedded content. Some pages embed content from LinkedIn and Vimeo.
When such content loads, these providers may receive your IP address and set cookies.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / consent where required.
3. Recipients
Personal data is processed on our behalf by our hosting provider (within the EU) and, for
the newsletter, by Mailchimp. We do not sell personal data. Providers act as processors
under data-processing agreements.
4. Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and then deleted or anonymised.
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the
configured analytics retention period.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure
(Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). Where
processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@ceecorg.eu.
6. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France this is the
Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL, cnil.fr); you may also contact the authority in your own
country of residence.
7. Cookies
The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, and — subject to
your choice — analytics and embedded-content cookies as described above. You can manage
cookies through the consent banner and your browser settings.
This statement reflects the services currently in use on ceecorg.eu.
