CEEC at the ICMS 10th Anniversary Conference in Washington DC
In September 2025, CEEC was represented at the ICMS 10th Anniversary Conference in Washington DC — marking a decade since the launch of the International Construction Measurement Standards.
ICMS provides the global framework for consistent classification, definition and reporting of construction costs and carbon, and CEEC has been part of the coalition since its inception. For European construction economists, ICMS represents a vital bridge between national cost practice and global benchmarking.
The 10th anniversary milestone reaffirmed the relevance of harmonised standards as climate, infrastructure and investment decisions increasingly cross borders. CEEC continues to actively contribute to the ongoing evolution of ICMS — ensuring that European perspectives, particularly on sustainability, life-cycle costing, and renovation, remain integrated into the global standard.
